US BLANKS IS OFFICIALLY IN PRODUCTION
LOS ANGELES, CA - September 21, 2006
As you can imagine it takes an incredible amount of time and effort to build a first class manufacturing facility and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support and patience during the last several months. We are also very proud to say that our operation is 100% legal and we have received ALL of the necessary permits required to operate a polyurethane foam manufacturing facility in the state of California. We believe we are the only blank manufacturing facility that is 100% legal. Due to the highly profiled nature of using the various chemicals required to manufacture polyurethane foam, it was very important to us that we exercised ALL environmental and safety precautions and requirements to ensure the safety of our employees and neighboring areas, and to solidify the longevity of our company in the marketplace. At US Blanks, we will continue to take all necessary steps to ensure our position at the forefront of environmental and safety standards.
As the industry standard for the last forty years, our updated formula, TDI based polyurethane foam blank is the perfect choice for both hand and machine shaping. Our blanks offer high strength to weight ratio, a more uniform core and a foam that is preferred by more shapers worldwide than any other surfboard core. Coupled with our all new mold designs and custom glue-ups, our blank line offers the shaper a strong blank that is easy to shape while producing minimal waste.
Our mold building operation continues to remain in full swing. By the end of September we will have 3 new gun molds by Pat Rawson; 7’11”, 8’5” and 9’2”. Following we will be molding an all new 10’8” by Rennie Yater and an 8’6” by Eric Arakawa. In October you can start looking for 2 more additional guns plugs by Pat Rawson and 2 close tolerance short boards by Timmy Patterson. Please continue to check our online catalog for updates.
Our highest priority is to produce high quality blanks, consistently. In pursuit of our goal of being the industry leader in customer service, we ask for your continued patience as we work through our backlog of orders. As we strive to increase our production quantities, we will not lessen our quality to increase output. We understand the importance of filling our customer’s needs and will work very closely with you in filling today’s orders and developing custom inventory and projection ordering systems to meet future requirements.
All of us at US Blanks look forward to hearing from you and welcome all comments and suggestions. Our partnership with you will help us develop the best blank in the iindustry.
